Single Origin Brazil

BRAZIL
Brazil Santos is a very traditional coffee, which can very simply be described as a "fine cup".  Santos coffees are grown generally in lower altitudes ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 ft.  Because of the lower altitudes, the acidity level is low to moderate, but the body is rich and full with a soft mellow finish. Flavour notes of citrus, sweet cherry and cocoa, round out this exceptional variety.  Roasted medium/dark, this coffee works great in a drip or in an Aeropress, but also makes an incredible espresso.

Served at an event it was a huge hit -- a crowd pleaser

I bought this coffee to serve outdoors at a community gathering and BBQ. I brewed it with a Bonavita batch drip brewer then served from a thermal carafe. I received very positive feedback from everyone at the event. They loved it no matter how they drank theirs; black, with milk or cream, sweetened or unsweetened. Personally I find it a little less full bodied than my preferred regular bean, but it has a very pleasant, easy drinking flavour. It's a good balanced roast level, a perfect medium dark.

I had previous experience with this blend as a semi-regular customer at a Toronto cafe where it's the house coffee. So I knew that I was safe going with it as a "crowd pleaser".

Gets your motor running

This is a great coffee for everyday. The aroma and taste can be described as strong and bold, giving you the coffee kick needed to get you ready for your day.
Nothing beats freshly ground coffee - so if you have a machine that grinds it first- it truly brings out the best taste of all.

Excellent

Whether a morning pick up or later with a sweet, I quite enjoyed both.

Amazing coffee

Been a Javaworks customer for over a year and love the Bravado coffee. I decided to try some single source and the Brazilian coffee is amazing. I like mild coffee and was nervous about getting a bold coffee. This did not disappoint. The coco taste is there with low acidity. I drink my coffee black and love it. Even with milk, the taste comes through. I highly recommend this.
