Expresso Gourmet Bravade

Bought 2 lbs and absolutely love the taste once I figured out how to work it in my DeLonghi. Smooth and not acidic at all. My only concern was the grind—I ordered “espresso grind” and it didn’t flow right so after trying 3x and wasting coffee, I came to the conclusion that the grind was too fine. It is probably a zero and a 1 or 2 would have been better. Too bad there’s not a select an espresso grind option lol.

This espresso is delicious and I was happy to switch to supporting a Canadian company, however, I am disappointed that the price has increased since I first purchased at the end of January. I really hope this is not to capitalize on Canadians trying to support local.

Great coffee from a local family owned business. Bravado has good level of roast without being too bitter
Use it for making Americanos in my machine and regular coffee in my moka pot

Definitely a very dark roast, not a medium roast, also no roast date on the bag

I do not own an espresso machine but I bought this for my cousin, according to him the crema is rich and the coffee came out smooth.

Tom (from Java Works) helped us try out some espresso beans that he thought would work best for our new machine and this was by far a GREAT selection. Right away you could smell the richness when opening the bag to pulling the shot. The flavour is smooth with nice hints of chocolate and caramel. All the depth is there! Try this one, you won't be disappointed!

I have been buying Bravado for many years now. Have drifted away to other roasters a few times, but always come back for the great crema and flavour at a reasonable price.
